On December 31, 2020, the Office of Administrative Law approved the Department of Justice’s regulation regarding Data Broker Registration and filed it with the Secretary of State. This regulation became effective on December 31, 2020.

On October 26, 2020, the Office of Administrative Law approved the Department of Justice’s readoption of the emergency regulation for Data Broker Registration and filed it with the Secretary of State. This regulation became effective October 28, 2020 and was followed by the above regulation that became effective on December 31, 2020.
