Yes. As a general rule, you must be employed by either a public or private forensic laboratory or a police or sheriff department. Some classes have further limitations on student enrollment.
No. However, if you work at an agency from another state, a federal agency, or a private laboratory you will have to pay the class fee– currently $120/ day of instruction.
CCI typically has more students who want to take a class than there are seats. All students are automatically waitlisted for each class they want to attend. Students are chosen for each class based on such considerations as class location, student availability, and size of waitlist.
